Enameled Wire For Drive Motors

Enameled copper wires form the stator and rotor windings of the drive motor through precision winding (such as round wire winding and flat wire forming). When energized, the windings generate a rotating magnetic field, which interacts with the permanent magnets of the rotor to produce electromagnetic torque, directly providing driving power for the vehicle. They are the "power core component" of the drive motor.

The electrical conductivity of copper is much higher than that of aluminum (about 1.6 times that of aluminum). Using enameled copper wires to make windings can significantly reduce "copper loss" (heat loss when current passes through the conductor), directly improving the energy efficiency of the drive motor and indirectly extending the driving range of new energy vehicles.

    Wire Drawing System

    Annealing&Cleaning

    Soften the copper wire, remove oil stains and oxide layer on its surface, and ensure firm adhesion of the paint film.

    Enamel Application

    Through precision paint-coating dies, uniformly apply a suitable insulating paint and control the thickness of the paint film in a single application (usually a few micrometers).

    04

    Baking&Curing

    The painted copper wire enters an oven at 300-500℃,  the solvent evaporates rapidly. The resins in the paint undergo cross-linking and curing, forming a dense insulating layer on the copper wire surface.

    Cooling

    Rapid cooling is achieved via air or water cooling, preventing the paint film from aging due to high temperature,restore the copper wire to normal temperature, for the next round of paint application.

    Repeated 04&05

    Since the thickness of paint applied in a single coat is limited (about a few micrometers), the process of "painting → baking → cooling" needs to be repeated 2-10 times until the designed paint film thickness and insulation class are achieved.

    Wire Take-up

    The finally formed enameled wire is neatly wound onto bobbins by a wire take-up machine, completing the finished product packaging.
